The variety belongs to the group of diploid (Japanese) plums. The tree has an upright growth habit and is characterized by high annual yields. Under California conditions, the fruits ripen in late August.
The fruits have a heart shape and dark blue, almost black skin color with yellow flesh. The stone separates from the flesh almost freely. The fruits have good firmness and are suitable for transportation and culinary processing. The variety is resistant to fruit cracking and sunburn.
