ActivePrunus L. · Plum

The rootstock provides moderate tree vigor, amounting to 70–80% of the size of trees on seedling rootstocks. It promotes early bearing and high yield, while the trees do not produce root suckers.
The plant adapts to various soil types, including heavy ones, and possesses good winter hardiness. It shows moderate resistance to bacterial canker, but is sensitive to phytophthora root rot and waterlogging, therefore requiring control of irrigation and drainage.
Although the rootstock provides good anchorage, in the first years of fruiting due to abundant yield, the use of trellis support is recommended.
