The rootstock is weak-growing and is intended to limit the vigor of grafted fruit trees. It adapts well to heavy soil types and demonstrates resistance to low temperatures.
Propagation of the material is carried out using green cuttings. The use of this rootstock requires monitoring of tree mineral nutrition due to its influence on the nutrient uptake process of the scion.
