The variety is intended for fresh market sale and is included in the UNECE international standards as a type of plum cultivated on an industrial scale.

Under trial conditions, the variety demonstrates vegetation and fruiting indicators characteristic of the Japanese plum group. Under certain growing conditions, the variety may show susceptibility to bacterial pathogens of the Xanthomonas spp. group and leptonecrosis.
