The variety was obtained by crossing 'Devoe' and 'Potomac' varieties. The tree is characterized by medium or strong vigor, is precocious and high-yielding. It possesses resistance or moderate resistance to fire blight.
The fruits are large or very large, pear-shaped, elongated, slightly bumpy. The ground color of the skin is green-yellow, covering color and russeting are absent. The flesh is fine, melting, the taste is sweet with slight acidity. Fruit ripening occurs approximately 20 days after the 'Williams' variety.
