CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
Fruit shape varies from pyriform to nearly round or barrel-shaped. Upon ripening, the skin becomes greenish-yellow, often with pronounced russeting. The fruit taste is dessert-quality, combining sweetness with mild acidity. Consumer maturity occurs in January–February.
The tree has moderate vigor and is relatively resistant to scab. The variety is demanding of heat and is best suited for warm climatic zones, as fruits may not ripen in more northern regions.
