The variety belongs to the summer pear varieties. It is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination, while the efficiency of fruit set depends on the period of stigma receptivity of the flower. The variety has one of the lowest requirements for the accumulation of winter chill hours.

Plants are sensitive to late spring frosts. To maintain the condition of the trees and yield, it is required to ensure a balance of nutrients, especially potassium and calcium. The fruits of the variety belong to the large-fruited varieties.
