Fruits of the variety have a medium size and spheroidal shape. The flesh is characterized as sugary, slightly acidic, and slightly granular. The variety is universal and suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing.

The tree is distinguished by medium vigor and is suitable for training as a pyramid on quince rootstock. The variety was used as a mother plant in the creation of the Pyronia veitchii hybrid. There is data on research into fruit susceptibility to pear phylloxera.
