Fruits of the Bergamote d’Angleterre variety ripen in September–October. They are medium-sized and characterized by good taste qualities.
The variety is demanding of agrotechnics, in particular the method of propagation. It is recommended to use «frank» (wild rootstock) as the rootstock, as the tree exhibits poor compatibility with quince.
The variety belongs to old European varieties mentioned in pomological descriptions of the XVIII–XIX centuries. It represents collection value and is not a modern commercial variety.
