CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is vigorous, growing intensively at a young age and reaching a height of about 5 meters. The crown is sparse and asymmetrical, changing shape from high-pyramidal to broad-pyramidal as it develops. The branches are long and geniculate. The variety demonstrates relative resistance to scab, medium winter hardiness, and low drought tolerance.
Fruits weighing 150–250 g have an elongated bottle shape. The thin, rough skin is completely russeted and colored golden-rusty or yellowish-brown. The flesh is tender, juicy, and white or cream in color. The taste is dessert-like, with a spicy aroma and an almond aftertaste.
The variety matures in the second ten-day period of September and is intended for fresh consumption. Due to the dense structure of the flesh, the fruits are suitable for culinary processing, retaining their shape after baking or boiling. The transportability of the fruits is rated as good.
