The variety is a traditional representative of the Pyrus domestica species. In professional studies, it is considered as an object of research, with data indicating a relatively low susceptibility to rust.

Regarding viral diseases, in particular pear stony pit virus, the variety is considered moderately susceptible. Upon infection, leaf deformation may be observed on the plant, as well as the appearance of spots or rings on the fruits.
