Fruits of this group are characterized by a round or oblate shape and varying size, from 70 to 150 grams. The trees are most often medium-sized, with a pyramidal or obovate crown shape. The taste qualities of the fruits are usually rated as sweet and juicy, however, many old varieties are characterized by low transportability.

The group includes varieties with different ripening periods: from summer to autumn. Resistance to climatic conditions is also heterogeneous: there are both winter-hardy varieties adapted to the conditions of Central Russia, and heat-loving southern varieties. Known representatives include varieties such as Bergamot osenniy, Bergamot moskovskiy, and Bergamot letniy krasnyy.
