CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree of this variety is medium-sized and begins fruiting in the 5th–6th year. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinators for fruit set. The winter hardiness of the plant is assessed as average.
The fruits are large, weighing 250–300 g, and have a short neck and a barrel shape. The taste of the fruits is sweet with a spicy aroma. Skin color can be green or red; in the green variety, the color hardly changes during ripening, so fruit readiness is checked by pressing on the base of the stalk.
