The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, a pyramidal crown that becomes spreading with age, and drooping branches. The variety is winter hardy, withstanding temperatures down to -25°C. It prefers fresh, deep, rich, and non-calcareous soils. It is partially self-fertile; pollinators are required for a stable yield.
The fruit consumption period lasts from the beginning of September through October. The fruits have a rounded or pear-shaped form; the skin turns straw-yellow with a pink blush upon ripening. The flesh is juicy, with a slight acidity and aroma. The variety is sensitive to scab but possesses good resistance to transport.
