Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to folk selection and originates from the Emilia-Romagna region. The name of the variety translates as "little bell" and is due to the characteristic shape of the fruits. Historically, the harvest of this variety was subjected to drying in ovens after baking bread, after which the fruits were consumed as an independent product.

The tree is characterized by high unpretentiousness and the ability to grow in harsh climatic conditions of the highlands, withstanding strong cold winds. The variety possesses pronounced resistance to diseases and pests. Small-sized fruits often have characteristic specks on the skin.
