The tree of this variety has medium vigor and a mixed crown type. The variety is distinguished by early flowering, and the harvest ripens in the third decade of June. The variety is characterized as highly productive.

The fruits are small in size and have a short spheroidal-pear shape. The skin is yellowish-green with a striped red blush. The flesh is white, tender and juicy, possessing a pleasant taste and an average level of aroma.

The variety is autochthonous to Italy and was developed through folk selection. In terms of agronomy, the variety is noted as being very susceptible to scab infection.
