The Camusina Precoce variety is a local pear form historically cultivated on the island of Sardinia in Italy. The origin of the variety is linked to folk selection, during which local inhabitants selected trees with the most valuable agronomic traits for further propagation.
The name of the variety indicates its membership in the group of early-maturing crops. The fruits and trees of the variety have become the subject of morphological and quality studies within the framework of programs for the conservation of regional agro-biological diversity.
