The fruits have a yellow primary skin color with a bright red blush, resembling the Doyenné du Comice variety in their characteristics. The tree is characterized by good vigor and a spur-type bearing habit.

The variety is winter-hardy and productive, but susceptible to fire blight. The plant is self-sterile and requires pollinator varieties to produce a crop.
