The variety is the result of hybridization of Jeanne d’Arc and Delmoip. It belongs to the category of late varieties with a ripening period approximately 40 days later than the Williams variety.

The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and early entry into bearing; it is also a good pollen donor. The fruits are firm, heavy, juicy, and sweet; their shelf life without refrigeration is about 3 weeks.

The variety may be found under the alternative names Del Avzana or Del Auzzona. Exact yield indicators and the degree of resistance to pathogens are not presented in public sources.
