Variety description

The fruits of the Devoe variety have an elongated shape, resembling the Bosc variety, and are decorated with a bright red mottled blush. Their flesh is delicate, melting, white or yellowish in color, and free of granulations. Harvesting takes place in mid-September.

The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a vertically spreading crown shape. Data regarding resistance to fire blight are contradictory: both potential tolerance and susceptibility to this disease are noted.
