Trees are vigorous, forming a broad-pyramidal crown of medium density. Fruits weighing 120–135 g have yellowish-white juicy sweet flesh, prone to mealiness during storage. A pinkish-yellow tint may appear on the sunny side of the fruit.

The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators. It is characterized by a tendency towards biennial bearing and requires regular pruning due to the predisposition of the branches to die off. Due to the high hardiness of the trunk, it is sometimes used as a rootstock.
