The name Lujzka, which also appears as Lujza, is not an independent variety. It is a local naming variant for the classic historical pear variety Louise Bonne d'Avranches, also known by the names Dobra Lujza, Gute Luise, or Avranška.
This variety is of French origin and dates back to the early 19th century. In official documents, such as national variety lists, the name may be mentioned alongside the names of administrative officials, however, these individuals are not the originators or breeders of this historical variety.
