The Lukasówka variety (synonym Beurre Alexandre Lucas) is a vigorous tree with a crown that becomes loose and spherical with age, featuring drooping branches. The fruits are large, weighing 180–220 g, egg-oval in shape with smooth greenish-yellow skin and a slight carmine blush. The flesh is white, medium-grained, aromatic, and has a sweet-vinous taste. The variety is of the late-autumn maturity group, is demanding of growing conditions, and is sensitive to frost and scab infection.
The "Lukashovka" group includes varieties (Tyoma, Polya, Olga, Vnuchka, Palmyra) bred by crossing Pyrus ussuriensis with cultivated varieties for the conditions of the Far East. The trees are characterized by high winter hardiness, and the fruits are predominantly medium or small in size with a sweet-sour taste. Varieties of this group have a multipurpose use and are suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.
