The variety originates from the Monti Lepini mountain area in Italy and was historically propagated by grafting onto wild pears. The tree has medium vigor and a spreading crown shape. Flowering occurs in the first ten days of April; productivity is medium.

The fruits are small, with an average weight of 70–75 grams. They have a short pear shape, a yellow-green skin color, and a long peduncle. The variety is subject to inventory within the framework of projects for the conservation of the genetic diversity of local fruit crops.
