CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is medium-sized, 4–5 meters in height, with a compact pyramidal-spherical or rounded crown. Branches are often located at a right angle to the trunk. Fruits are large, with a mass of 180–230 g, sometimes reaching 300 g, having a regular pear-shaped or bottle-shaped form. The skin is smooth, matte, yellow-green in color, with a pink or red blush appearing on the sun-exposed side when ripening.
The flesh is cream-colored or light yellow, juicy, of a tender buttery consistency, without pronounced graininess, with a sweet taste. The variety is of summer or early autumn maturity, entering fruit-bearing in the 3rd–6th year. Trees possess good frost resistance and drought tolerance. The variety is partially self-fertile; to increase yield, pollinators such as «Вильямс» or «Косчия» are required.
