CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The fruits are medium-sized, have very soft white flesh, and excellent taste qualities. The variety is classified as winter; the fruits retain their properties throughout the winter and are intended for fresh consumption.
The tree is of moderate vigor, which allows it to be grown in limited spaces using a small open vase training system. The plant is characterized by its rustic nature, cold hardiness, and adaptability to cultivation at altitudes from 800 to 1200 meters above sea level.
For successful cultivation, deep fresh soils are preferred, while avoiding dry and calcareous sites. During heavy fruiting, it is necessary to thin the fruits to control the load on the branches.
