The variety is native to the Galicia region, Spain. It belongs to early varieties; the harvest period falls on the third week of August. Flowering is late, occurring in the second week of April.

The fruits are very small; the average weight is about 50 g with a maximum diameter of 44 mm and a length of 46 mm. The maximum diameter of the fruit is shifted closer to the calyx. The variety is preserved in germplasm banks as an object of local agrobiodiversity.
