CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is distinguished by a columnar shape with a central leader and large, rounded leaves. Flowering occurs in the first ten days of May; the variety enters fruit-bearing in the 3rd year after planting.
The fruits are of a classic pear shape and weigh from 50 to 350 g. The skin is green with a yellowish tinge and a blush; the flesh is white with a creamy tint, juicy, and has a sweet and sour taste. Harvesting is carried out in mid-September.
The variety possesses resistance to scab and fire blight. To maintain the columnar shape and ensure yield, grafting onto dwarfing rootstocks is necessary, as the use of seedling rootstocks does not yield the desired result.
