ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is the result of breeding work by the Fruit Research Institute in Čačak, which began in 1950. The goal of the breeding program was to obtain varieties with increased resistance to scab Venturia pirina and fire blight Erwinia amylovora.
The variety is considered promising for industrial cultivation in the Balkan region, in particular in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The fruits are suitable for use in the food industry and for fresh consumption.
