The fruits of this variety have a characteristic fully russeted skin and can reach significant sizes. The harvest ripens at the end of September. Trees of old specimens of this variety are characterized by their large size and vigorous growth.

The variety possesses high versatility: the fruits are consumed fresh, used for the preparation of juices, jams, and traditional fruit preserves, and also paired with cheeses and nuts. Due to its ability to be stored for long periods and resistance to diseases, the variety is included in genetic resource registers for conservation.
