CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
Trees of the variety are vigorous, forming a high-pyramidal crown; however, on dwarfing rootstocks such as quince, growth vigor decreases and the onset of fruiting is accelerated. The variety is characterized by annual high yield and precocity.
Fruits weighing 120–150 g (up to 190–260 g on dwarfing rootstocks) have a pear-shaped form, light yellow color, and are covered with numerous subcutaneous dots. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy and tender. The variety possesses high resistance to drought and fungal diseases, although in rainy periods it may be affected by scab.
