The variety is classified as a culinary pear, the fruits of which are not consumed fresh but are used for cooking. The tree has medium vigor; in cultivation, it is often trained as an espalier or palmette, reaching a height of 2–3 meters.
The fruits are distinguished by their very large size and elongated, often knobby shape. The skin is greenish in color, with a reddish blush appearing on the sunny side during ripening. The flesh is white, dense, firm, and moderately juicy. Harvesting is carried out in October.
