The variety is a landrace originating from the provinces of Brindisi and Lecce, Apulia region. It is also found under the synonym Scaloti. The plant is characterized by medium vigor and a spreading canopy shape. The tree has average flowering and productivity indicators.

The harvest period falls between the third decade of July and the first decade of August. Fruits are small-sized and top-shaped. The skin is thin and smooth, colored yellow-green with a reddish blush of medium intensity. The flesh is juicy, flavor is average.
