The variety is a deciduous shrub with trailing, flexible canes 3–4 meters in length. When trellised, the height of the bush is 1.5–2.2 meters. The canes have thorns. The plant does not produce root suckers; propagation is carried out mainly by tip layering.
Fruiting is early, beginning in late June – July. The berries are black, glossy, have an elongated conical shape, and reach 5 cm in length. The average weight of a berry is 10–12 g, with individual specimens reaching 20 g. The fruits are firm, with a sweet taste and a slight tartness.
The variety possesses high drought tolerance and withstands frosts down to -18°C; in central regions, it requires winter protection. The produce is suitable for transport, fresh consumption, freezing, and processing.
