The vigorous bush reaches a height of 1.5 to 2.5 meters. The sturdy, upright shoots are covered with thorns and produce numerous lateral branches for fruiting in the second year. The variety does not produce root suckers; propagation occurs by rooting shoot tips.
The fruits are rounded, weighing from 1.5 to 3.5 g, changing color from red to black with a whitish bloom upon ripening. The berries are sweet, lacking the acidity characteristic of red raspberries. The variety is of medium to late maturity, with a summer fruiting type.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness (down to –34 °C) and drought tolerance. It is resistant to fungal diseases, although it may be susceptible to powdery mildew. Due to the significant height and weight of the yield, the bushes require support staking, and fruited canes must be pruned out.
