Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant has trailing or semi-trailing shoots 2–4 meters long. Both thorny forms and thornless clones exist in cultivation. The flowers are large and white.

The fruits are large aggregate drupes weighing 8–12 g, which turn a dark cherry, almost black color when ripe. The variety belongs to the mid-season group; fruiting is extended from the end of July to mid-August or early September.

The variety has low winter hardiness and requires winter covering. Due to the trailing growth habit, trellising and annual pruning of spent shoots are necessary. The berries are characterized by a delicate, juicy consistency and low transportability.
