Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant belongs to the blackberry crop and is the result of crossing Darrow and Thornfree varieties. The variety forms vigorous semi-trailing bushes with flexible thornless canes, the length of which reaches 2–4 meters. The leaves are ternate and have a rich green color.

Fruiting begins at the end of July or mid-August and lasts up to 6 weeks. The weight of the fruits is 5–8 g, individual specimens reach 12 g. The berries are firm, round-oval or conical in shape, and have a sweet taste with a slight acidity. 10–20 kg of yield is harvested from one bush.

The variety has high resistance to fungal diseases, including anthracnose and rust, as well as drought tolerance. Winter hardiness is estimated at -22...-30°C, and mandatory tying of canes to a trellis is required to prevent them from breaking under the weight of the fruits.
