Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Salvia nemorosa and Salvia pratensis intended for landscaping and container cultivation. The plant forms a dense, heavily branched bush 50–55 cm in height and width with upright stems and fragrant dark green foliage.

The flowers of the variety have a rich bright violet-blue shade and are arranged in dense whorls with contrasting dark calyces. The flowering period occurs in late spring and early summer; a second wave of flowering is possible with pruning.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zones 3–8) and is resistant to drought, high temperatures, and saline soils. It is characterized by strong stems, vigorous growth, and resistance to damage by deer and rabbits.
