Variety description

The plant forms upright bushes with deep green foliage that releases a light mint-anise aroma when rubbed. The flowers have a tubular shape and an intense blue or violet-blue hue. At maturity, the variety reaches a height of 90 to 160 cm.

Flowering continues from mid-summer to late autumn, in the period from June to October or November. The variety is heat-loving, winter hardy down to -5°C; in cold climates, it is grown as an annual or requires moving indoors. The plant needs well-drained soil, as excessive moisture can provoke root rots.

The variety is used in ornamental gardening for landscaping flower beds, container gardening, and attracting pollinators such as bees and hummingbirds.
