Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Salvia nemorosa and Salvia pratensis. The plant forms a dense and compact bush about 50–55 cm in height and width. The foliage is dark green, fragrant, with wavy edges.

Bright indigo-colored flowers with dark calyces are gathered in dense spike-like inflorescences. Flowering occurs from late spring to early summer; a second wave is possible after removing spent inflorescences.

The plant is drought-tolerant once established, is not affected by pests and diseases, and is resistant to damage by deer and rabbits. It is used in landscape design for borders, containers, and mixed borders, and attracts pollinators.
