Variety description

The variety forms a dense, bushy rosette. The leaves have a deeply dissected pinnate shape unusual for salvia, creating a lacy structure. Flowering with lavender or blue-violet flowers in dense spikes begins in spring and continues throughout the summer.

The plant is drought tolerant and undemanding when grown in full sun in well-drained soils. Intended for landscape design, borders, and rock gardens, and also attracts pollinators. The variety is resistant to damage by some animals, such as deer and rabbits.
