The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Franzi and Granola. Tubers are round-oval in shape, medium to large in size, with yellow skin and light yellow or yellow flesh. Eyes are shallow or of medium depth. Culinary type is predominantly firm, tubers do not boil down.
The plant has high resistance to late blight of leaves and tubers, as well as to virus Y and nematodes of pathotypes Ro1 and Ro4. It shows a medium degree of susceptibility to common scab and low to medium susceptibility to rhizoctonia. The variety is susceptible to potato wart, although according to some data it is resistant to the first pathotype.
