The variety is a tall, sparse plant with small white flowers. The tubers have a long-oval shape, smooth blue skin, and shallow eyes. The sprouts are characterized by a dark blue-violet color, most intense at the base.
The potato is characterized by a high dry matter content and a floury consistency. When boiled, the tubers disintegrate significantly, yet they show almost no darkening. The variety exhibits high susceptibility to Phytophthora infestans and potato virus Y, but possesses resistance to Tobacco rattle virus.
