The tubers have pink skin and light yellow flesh. In terms of culinary properties, the variety belongs to type B: it has a good taste, slightly mealy texture, and medium boiling quality. Its starch content is higher than that of many other early-maturing varieties.
The variety is resistant to potato leafroll virus and potato virus Y, and exhibits moderate resistance to late blight of foliage, common scab, and rots. It is characterized by reliability, a lack of tendency towards degeneration, and a good response to irrigation; the potential yield is 35–40 t/ha.
