Bohun belongs to culinary type B, is not prone to excessive boiling, and retains taste qualities during long-term storage until spring. Suitable for various preparation methods, including boiling, baking, and use in soups.
The variety possesses resistance to potato wart and golden potato cyst nematode. The level of resistance to virus Y and M, as well as to late blight of leaves and tubers, is assessed as low, which requires the application of protective fungicidal agents.
