The variety is specialized for use in the processing industry and is often applied for the production of potato chips.

The plant possesses moderate resistance to foliage and tuber forms of late blight (Phytophthora infestans) and has a certain level of resistance to powdery scab. In studies, the variety demonstrates intermediate indicators regarding the degree of damage by the leafminer fly (Liriomyza huidobrensis).
