The variety was obtained by crossing Carolus and AR 05-3535. The plant forms mid-sized haulm that effectively covers the inter-rows. Tubers are characterized by yellow skin and red eyes of medium depth. The variety adapts to various soil types and is considered suitable for organic farming.
The potato is resistant to common and silver scab, rust, and potato wart; it shows relative resistance to late blight, while having slight susceptibility to potato cyst nematode. Yield is comparable to the Asterix variety.
The variety belongs to culinary type AB and is slightly floury. It is intended for fresh consumption, baking, and making homemade French fries, maintaining good color when fried. It possesses high keeping quality indicators, allowing storage until spring.
