Culinary type A potatoes do not boil down and are suitable for salads and boiling; the dry matter content is about 17%. The variety is characterized by excellent storage ability and high resistance to adverse climatic conditions, including heat and drought.
The variety possesses resistance to potato virus X, while being moderately susceptible to potato virus Y and potato virus A. Susceptibility is noted for late blight of leaves and tubers, common scab, and potato cyst nematode.
