The variety belongs to culinary type B, characterized by medium disintegration and medium dry matter content. The tubers have good uniformity in size and resistance to mechanical damage and flesh darkening after boiling.
The variety has high resistance to late blight of foliage and tubers, as well as good resistance to Potato virus Y. It has resistance to the potato cyst nematode Globodera rostochiensis, but is susceptible to G. pallida; resistance to common scab is estimated as medium.
