The Fandango variety is a mid-season potato with a maturity period of 90 to 100 days. Plants reach an average height of about 78 cm. Tubers have a round-oval shape with shallow eyes, cream-colored skin, and light yellow flesh.

The dry matter content in the tubers is about 18%; the variety has good keeping quality and is suitable for baking. The yield of the variety is estimated as very high.

The potato is immune to wart and resistant to golden potato cyst nematode (PCN Ro 1) and pale potato cyst nematode (PCN Pallida). Resistance to tuber late blight is 7 points, and to foliage late blight and common scab is 5 points.
